Challenge:

The site had inherited a disorganized and undocumented cabling setup from previous contractors. Many camera connections were mislabeled or untraceable, and several phone lines were dead — all requiring cleanup and repair without interrupting operations.

Solution:

• Traced and identified all camera feeds in the existing cable room
• Replaced legacy recorder with a modern Hikvision NVR for improved reliability and performance
• Diagnosed and repaired phone line issues in the Panasonic NS1000 system
• Re-terminated connections and organized the rack to improve future serviceability

Results:

• The facility now has a fully functional surveillance system with simplified access to recordings
• Phone lines were restored without needing a full system replacement
