Challenge:
The previous cabling contractor had left behind damaged, tangled wiring, and the home was fully finished with concrete walls and spray foam insulation — making traditional rewiring nearly impossible. The client also wanted rooftop automation and reliable network coverage throughout.
Solution:
- Cleaned up and restored salvageable low-voltage cabling
- Installed TP-Link Omada Wi-Fi mesh with wireless AP bridges to bypass inaccessible areas
- Integrated wireless rooftop camera and motorized skylight controls
- Mounted iPads to walls using POE-to-USB adapters for seamless home control
- Installed smart TP-Link light switches and automation scenes
- Deployed a full Sonos surround theatre with subwoofer and Epson 4K HDR projector
- Configured a VPN for remote control and monitoring of home systems
